Product Description: The Imperial Yellow Table Lamp has its roots far in the past. The Imperial label is apropos for the porcelain vase-shaped body because this piece is made of clay sourced from the area surrounding the kilns that produced objects for the royal estate during the heyday of the dynasties. The formulas to achieve the particular yellow on this lamp's surface is a secret one guarded by ceramicist families devoted to the single color. The base and finial are made of optic crystal and the metal has a natural brass finish.
